My photo tour is perfect for travelers who refuse to travel without their camera and who are curious to know more about Quebec City. This private Photo Tour will provide you with the most interesting points of view from which to take beautiful pictures. Because I am a certified Quebec City tour guide, I can perfectly explain what you are shooting! Don’t waste your valuable time looking for the perfect shot, just have your camera ready and I will take care of the rest. The Photo Tour takes around 3 hours. Ideally, we get started in the early morning or the late afternoon when the light is soft, but we will, of course, start at any time that fits your travel schedule. After your guided tour, you will be able to navigate the city on your own and understand why Quebec city is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. This tour is also your opportunity to get to know a local guide; the human side is very important to Nomad Tours Québec!

Parliament Building, Fairmont Chateau Frontenac, the city fortifications, Dufferin Terrace, Place Royale, the Petit-Champlain district, the Morrin Center, City Hall Plaza…and some surprises on the way!

Yes. A one-year training or a 3-year technique program in Tourism is mandatory in order to have a tour guide license. This training is recognized by Québec City Professional Tour Guides Association (AGTQ) and an official diploma is given when the student graduates. When guiding, a tour guide must wear his license visibly. Wearing the license is proof of competence, of respect for the municipal laws and of other tour guides. A tour guide not wearing a valid permit contravenes the municipal bylaw and is liable to a substantial fine.
