Meeting Point: HQ Tourism Service
The HQ Tourism Service guide will be waiting for you at the office located on 112 Saint-Paul Street. The food tour will start from there.
Stop 1: Va bene
New in the Petit-Champlain’s district, this intimate Italian restaurant offers products directly imported from Italy. You will discover the Panzanella, a fresh italian typical salad with ingredients such as : fresh tomatoes, red onion, capers, basil, mache, Gaeta olives, focaccia croutons, balsamic vinegar of Modena, mozzarella di Bufala foam.
Stop 2: Archibald
Located in a century-old stone house, Archibald is a beloved spot for craft beer lovers in Quebec. Over there, we will enjoy a refreshing light beer with notes of citrus followed by a comforting french onion soup.
Stop 3: Le Continental
Total enjoyment in the classical gourmet world of Le Continental, we will experience preferred services and table-side flambéed shrimp that pay tribute to the delicious French cuisine.
Step 4: Chez Jules (according to season)
Chez Jules is an authentic and typical French Brasserie restaurant. Red neon lights, copper wine holders, murals, indoor french windows, and most importantly — burgundy-style braised beef cheek with smoked bacon, onions, thyme, bay leaf, button mushrooms and maple syrup. Depending on the season, the tour might end at this stop.
Stop 4: The Augustine's Vivoir (according to season)
Located in the Augustine’s Monastery, the Vivoir focuses on local and organic food. You will enjoy boar ribs and a traditional dessert. The menu highlights arrivals and local seasonal products. Depending on the season, the tour might end at this stop.
